Being one of the best sources of entertainment, going to movies with friends or the ones you love has proven to be an effective way of relaxing from tough days at school, home and work. There is an assortment of movies in various film genres that are set to come out the rest of this year and next but in the list are the films that I am excited most to see. Of course other movies belong on this list, others more for the Christmas mood, other Cinematic Universes, as well as horror, as we are on the halloween curve.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever ( Nov. 11, 2022)
In first place would be the most anticipated second movie to the Black Panther franchise, Wakanda Forever. Following the death of Chadwick Boseman, MCU announced that the second movie is still set to be seen on screens of 2022, this had most of the MCU community in a buzz to see what they do with the story, whether they will honour his legacy and be one of the greatest movies released, or if the movie is a flop.With recent announcements of the movie being 2 hours and 41 minutes long, the second longest movie after Avengers: Endgame, I can not wait for it to be released in cinemas. Whether the movie is good or not, the atmospheres in cinemas sure will be emotional.
Avatar: The Way of the Water (Dec. 16, 2022)
Being the greatest science fiction movie and the highest grossing movie of all time, the second movie has very high expectations to reach. After 13 years the first movie, we have a second one and with progressions in CGI and movie production the masses can't wait to watch the continuation of the Jake Sully story.

A new hero/villain has been introduced within the DCU, and after watching both trailers and hearing a few rumours of other superhuman appearances, I am rather interested in how they portray a character with such a controversial background and have him start as a hero to villain. I am rather excited to have Dwanye joining the DCU, his acting is phenomenal and his presence unmatched.
The Super Mario Bros: MOVIE (2023)
The world is in a spin with the announcement and drop of the Super Mario Bros: Movie teaser trailer, creating a lot of arguments between Mario and Sonic fans. With the new release of this movie it will surely benefit The Sonic franchise as to compare the two movies. Without knowing too much I hope this does not set a catalyst for other childhood games to start producing movies as well.
Indiana Jones 5 ( 2023)
A franchise that every kid should grow up watching is coming in 2023 with the fifth and last movie of the franchise. Still maintaining the main character, watchers are wondering how they are going to end the franchise. Not much is known about this next movie, it is still a mystery, but if it's any good as the other Indiana Jones. A lot of viewers would be happy. The great thing about continuing a franchise is that our favourite characters are still around, however sometimes producers need to know when to let it die. Although I am excited, I am also nervous about whether this movie will be good or not.
