Brazil has a brand new world class prospect, and his name is Endrick Felipe. Despite being only 16 years old, the wonderkid has attracted the likes of Real Madrid, Manchester United, Barcelona, and PSG. The footballing world has been completely mesmerized by the striker’s goal scoring abilities. Recently he has been all over social media due to a few eye-catching finishes.
In order to understand all the hype around him, it is important to evaluate what makes him so good. First of all he is as versatile as it gets; while Endrick is more familiar with the striker position, he can still fill in the wings or drop into the offensive midfielder roles. He is far stronger than most of the opponents within his age group and has even proven to be quite successful in the men's games where he managed to score his first goal, in his debut with the Palmeiras first team. Secondly, his rapid speed and dribbling capabilities combine for a truly special player.
Whilst many teams are after him, Real Madrid seem the most aggressive, as they strive for his signature. Madrid has been keeping an eye on Brazilian players within the last few years. In 2018 they signed Vinicius jr, who has turned into one of the best players in the world.
So far, rumors have indicated that teams will have to spend approximately 60 million euros to sign this future Ballon d’Or winner. However due to his age and regulations in place, he will only be able to join in 2 years, once he turns 18. Therefore posing a risk for both the buyer, and his ego.
